Five for Friday: Spring Break Edition

image

I’m on spring break this week.   It’s been spring in Ohio and we started off the week with both kids and I getting sick….but we made the best of it!

Thank you to Doodle Bugs Teaching for hosting this fun linky!

How is spring break the shortest week of the year?!?  I was going to get so much done!   I had a huge list of projects for home,  work for school and fun to have with my kiddos.   I didn’t even crack these overly full two  school bags.  Oh well!   Life will go on!

We made the best of the rain and played in the puddles.  Mr. B thought it was fabulous.  His big sister had a great time too, until she fell and got soaking wet.   And yes, that’s my husband doing a slip and slide through a huge puddle!

To get ready for Girl Talk,  I’m celebrating the ladies in my life!   I had a girls day with Miss O this week.   We went shopping for ballet shoes,  since she starts her first dance class next week, had lunch and saw Cinderella.   AND today I’m off for a mini girls trip with one of my very best college friends!   We both have little kiddos at home, so we might be overly excited for our big overnight trip!   🙂

We only have 7 weeks until summer vacation!   Yay!

While you’re here,  check out (and link up with) my I am a TEACHER post.  I’d love to hear your success stories!

Have a great week!

Happy teaching,
Elisabeth
