I love linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for Five for Friday!  I’m a day late this week…but better late than never?

Here’s a peek at the week.

We are working on animal needs and habitats before our big zoo field trip next week!  We started with the Arctic to fit in with “ice investigations” on my alphabet countdown and discovered how polar bears use blubber to keep warm in their cold home.

Our PTO hosted an awesome teacher appreciation week!  I am so thankful to work with such a supportive group of parents.  (somehow this is the only picture I have…whoops)

I started reading The Book Whisperer by Donalyn Miller and it is amazing!  Some fabulous teachers and I are hosting a book study on it this summer…watch for more information coming soon!

My husband has a Master’s Degree!  We traveled from Ohio to Clemson (kid free!) for his commencement.

We also took a side trip to Lexington and visited University of Kentucky and the Burbon Trail.

We are heading back home to our kiddos today!  Only 13 days of school to go and this week I have field day and a zoo field trip…it’s going to be a fun one!

Have a great week!
Elisabeth
