Five for Friday {May 29}

It’s Friday!  It’s officially summer vacation!  Hooray!!  I’m linking up with Doodle Bug Teaching for Five for Friday…here’s a peek at our week!

Our town sets up the Field of Heroes each Memorial Day.  It is truly amazing and a beautiful tribute to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Miss O had a ballet “recital” this week.  Oh my…tiny, adorable dancers, each doing their own version of ballet!

Our school had a book swap this week.  Kids brought books from home (or got books from school) and traded for new books to read this summer.  Everyone left with new books to read this summer!

Today was our final teacher workday for the year.  Fueled by caffeine, I got to work super early, powered through the end of the year to do list and an now officially on summer vacation!

I’m hoping to blog more regularly over the summer and I’m working on a few new products…plus a giant to do list for home and school.  I can’t wait to play with my kiddos, enjoy the sunshine and work on my own time!
