Five for Friday {June 12}

I love linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching each week for Five for Friday!  I actually had a hard time narrowing down my week to just 5 things…and they are mostly pictures of my kids…just a warning! 🙂

Here’s a peek at our week…

Columbus has an awesome park with free kids activities on Fridays all summer!  Olivia could ride the carousel all day, not to mention waterslides and bounce houses – fabulous summer fun!  My personal favorite part is that we can get Jeni’s ice cream, too…salty caramel, espress and dark chocolate…yum!

We had so much fun that Mr. B actually fell asleep mid-lunch!  Poor little guy!

We spent the weekend on the lake celebrating my cousin’s high school graduation.  My kiddos loved the beach and spending time with their cousins!

We are participating in the summer reading program at our library.  Their “Beginners” program includes library events and we had fun moving through this “Story walk” outside the library.

My hubby is hosting the Ohio Senior Olympics this month so we’ve been checking out some of the events.  Miss O loved watching these “bow and arrow men.”

My favorite thing about social media – and the reason why I wanted to start blogging – is connecting with other teachers!  This week I met Jordan from Ferrell in First and had a great time chatting at lunch!

Anyone else in the Columbus area?  I’d love to work on a social meet up (and maybe something more if there’s interest!)

    The summer reading program at the library looks wonderful! Love the picture of her waddling and flying.

    LOL. Archery seems to be a theme in the Five for Friday link up. The blog right before you had an archery photo too. Who would have guessed? I bet the students had fun with it.
