Monday Made It: Vinyl, Vinyl, Vinyl!

It’s my last week of summer vacation before I head back on the 10th and
my kiddos come on the 13!  I’ve been trying to get a few last minute things done around my house and get my classroom ready while soaking up the last of my summer freedom!
This week,  I’m excited to link up with 4th Grade Frolics and share my vinyl and my cricut projects.   It’s possible that I have a vinyl obsession.

This is a tiny made it.  Miss O is in love with anything glitter and recently exclaimed “anything with glitter is my business!”  It was to funny for me to pass up putting on her latest personalized water bottle.   And I had the perfect pink sparkle vinyl ready to go!

Another tiny made it is our kitchen whiteboard.   It’s a staple in our house for notes and to dos and the post one had taken one too many falls so it was time to replace it.  A little washi tape and vinyl made it perfect! (We might refer to our life like a reality TV show…)

My personal favorite from this week is my new classroom door!  I used chalkboard vinyl for the background and added the vinyl quote on top.

How happy does that look!?!  I’m going to write my kiddos names on it to start the year and plan on using it to celebrate my kiddos who are working hard and being kind with some hallway shout outs!

I can’t wait to see what everyone had been making this week!

I love your door display! (And ironically, my door display is my favorite in the entire classroom, too.) Oh – vinyl. I’m so jealous of all of you teachers that understand how to use vinyl. I will invest the time to learn eventually! Anyway, it looks beautiful! 🙂

Thanks, Amber! Honestly, once you get the hang of it, vinyl is so easy! Though the chalkboard part of my door about killed me because the pieces were so big! Thankfully it’s cute enough to make up for the trouble! 😉

    I LOVE your door!

  3. I have vinyl envy. I need to take the plunge and get one of these fabulous things so I can make stuff like yours!!!!! Love.
